The fourth SoYoung Asia-pacific Award Ceremony for the Medical Beauty Industry was held in Beijing on Dec 23.
The event drew hundreds of doctors and hospital managers from China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and other regions to attend, as well as plastic surgery patients who have become internet celebrities.
The ceremony was held by the SoYoung platform, which is a popular online e-commerce and social media platform on cosmetic procedures.
Founded in 2013, SoYoung is the first e-commerce platform for cosmetic medicine. Currently, it has 35 million users and has attracted 31,408 doctors.
At the event, awards were given to honor outstanding doctors and medical institutions from the field of cosmetic medicine.
Meanwhile, themed speeches were delivered by SoYoung executives and invited guests on the latest trends in the field.
According to Jin Xing, founder and chief executive officer of SoYoung, China's cosmetic medicine industry has been exploding over the past five years, with consumers having better knowledge and acceptance of plastic surgery, and a large number of consumers flooding into the market.
